What we collect

PoolWatch AU collects only what is necessary to provide the service:

Usage data — your browser stores your preferences locally (localStorage). We do not track page visits or set analytics cookies.
Pool status data — sourced from publicly available pool operator websites. No personal data is collected from pool operators.

How we use your data

We do not sell, share, or trade personal information with third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

IP addresses

We verify your IP address to prevent abuse and keep the service available, but we do not log, store, or retain it, and it is never linked to any information that identifies you.

Cookies

PoolWatch AU does not use tracking cookies. Your preferences are stored in your browser's localStorage only.

Third-party services

We use Cloudflare for hosting. Cloudflare may process connection data (IP addresses) as part of providing CDN and security services. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to access and correct information we hold about you. Contact us via the "Report an issue" button on any pool page.
