PoolWatch AU is a real-time status tracker for public swimming pools across Australia, operated by SmartRoutes Ltd. The service shows open/closed/limited status and lane availability for 77 pools across every Australian capital city.
Pool status is provided on a best-efforts basis and may not be correct or current at all times. Always verify directly with the pool before travelling. PoolWatch AU accepts no liability for wasted trips or inconvenience.
PoolWatch AU's core status service is free. Any optional paid plan is billed in Australian dollars and prices shown include GST where applicable. Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically (monthly or annually, as selected) until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details.
You may cancel a paid plan at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. Except where required by law (including the consumer guarantees below), amounts already billed are non-refundable and are not pro-rated.
Donations to PoolWatch are voluntary and non-refundable. PoolWatch / SmartRoutes Ltd is not a registered charity, and donations are not tax-deductible.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where it can be limited, our liability for a failure to meet a consumer guarantee is limited, at our option, to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to your consumer rights above, PoolWatch and SmartRoutes Ltd are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from reliance on status information (including wasted trips). Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount (if any) you paid us in the 12 months before the relevant claim.
Pool names, addresses, and facility information belong to their respective operators. The PoolWatch AU platform, design, and code are the property of SmartRoutes Ltd.
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts. If you are a consumer in Australia, nothing in this clause limits your rights, or your ability to bring proceedings, under the Australian Consumer Law in Australia.
